The Mandal, alongwith “HIV-Aids Information & Guidance Centres”, have set up a centre at Ghatkopar on 1st October 1993 which is not only providing information & guidance but also support services to HIV Aids patients:

Exhibitions & Literature

The Centre has developed exhibitions covering all the aspects of HIV diseases and epidemic. Informative literature covering aspects of transmission and preventive precautions course of HIV disease and responsibilities of the common man are published and distributed at various meetings organized by the Centre.

COUNSELLING

Counselling services are provided to HIV positive patients and their families at the Centre.

SUPPORTIVE SERVICES – HOME CARE KIT

Home Care Kit is provided to patients who are discharged from hospitals for home care.
