- The Mandal has provided medicine and medical appliances to St. George’s, G. T. and Bombay Hospitals. Our Mandal’s representatives regularly visit the hospitals to help the patients. The Mandal has also provided these hospitals with water coolers.
- The Mandal is running a medicine Bank at G. T. Hospital through which medicines are supplied free of cost to needy patients.
- Medical camps are being held regularly in rural areas of Maharashtra State. In the children’s year, 1979, a free medical camp was organised and free medical services were given for full one year to needy patients from the slums of Mumbai.

Knee and Hip Camp
OSWAL MITRA MANDAL & SIDDHI FOUNDATION ( Dr Satish & Aarti Mutha) jointly held a free ‘Knee & Hip Camp’ at Kalina on Sunday 21 st July 2019. The intention of the camp was to close the registration for the needy patients to maximum 50 .However there was a overwhelming response & hence 65 patients between the age group of 60 to 75 years were selected for the free camp.
The Camp involved exhaustive screening which among others included X-rays , BMD , Lab tests for arthritis at highly subsided rates and orthopaedic and physiotherapy evaluation.The Patients were also made aware of healthy lifestyle and diet to curtail arthritis.The Patients requiring MRI and other specialised investigations were referred to concerned centre where these were arranged at highly subsidised rates .The Patients will be re-evaluated subsequently free of cost.
Needy patients were identified & Total Knee Replacement surgery was performed.
